7 Days in Slow Motion, in a subtle way, shows a kid's rebellion against a system where there is a lot of pressure to succeed academically. It is a beautifully pictured comedy of errors about a filmmaking project by children, where adults see the truth through a child's eyes and his 'borrowed' camera.

Gabhricha Paus(The Damned Rain) a marathi film, is about the life of a farmer Kisna, who is trying to get a good crop in the drought-stricken Vidarbha region, which is notorious for farmer suicides. Kisna's wife Alka is assured that he is thinking of committing suicide. She asks their 6-year old son Dinu to keep a watch on Kisna, and report any irregular behavior. Meanwhile, Kisna keeps toiling hard in his field, and praying that the rains will be good. But, how long can he keep doing that, with little results to show for his efforts.

Tahaan, a tender fable about childhood innocence amid the realities of war is set against the rugged landscape of Kashmir, so long a flash point for the territorial claims of neighboring India and Pakistan. The title character, an eight year old mountain boy, often hears distant gunfire. But it is not until he goes on a quest to reclaim his beloved donkey, which has been confiscated as payment of his poor family's debts, that he is drawn toward a violence he has no capacity to understand.
