The India International Film Festival is proud to be the first South Asian Film Festival
in the country to launch an independent film school for aspiring filmmakers. The two-day film school was held on February 4th and 5th 2012.
This exciting opportunity allowed students to get hands on training with high quality equipment while honing their craft through one-on-one lessons from experienced film professionals. During the film school, students learned about a wide range of topics including screenwriting, pre-production, sound, lighting and camera operation. Most importantly, the students produced their own short film which will premiere at the film festival.
Please see the coverage on My Fox Tampa Bay about the Film School.
Pictures from the Film School will be added to our gallery soon.
